Worship at The Episcopal Church is rooted in ancient tradition while making room for personal expression. You may notice people kneeling, standing, bowing, making the sign of the cross, or simply sitting quietly in prayer. There is no expectation to “get it right.” Our worship follows the pattern of the Book of Common Prayer, with much of the service printed in the bulletin so everyone can participate comfortably. Whether you are lifelong Episcopalian or visiting church for the first time, you are welcome here.

We offer two Sunday services, and both include Holy Communion, also called the Eucharist. The 7:30 a.m. service is quiet, spoken, and contemplative, offering space for stillness and reflection. The 9:30 a.m. service includes music ranging from traditional hymns to contemporary selections and carries a more lively and energetic spirit. Throughout the year, the colors, prayers, and traditions of worship shift with the seasons of the Church calendar, connecting us to the wider rhythm of Christian life.

At times, our worship includes processions with cross and candles, bells, incense, and special liturgies during feast days such as Christmas and Easter. These traditions engage the senses and remind us that worship involves heart, mind, body, and spirit. Father Skoglund’s sermons are thoughtful, encouraging, and grounded in everyday life, helping connect God’s Word to the world we live in each day.
